If you've opted to bypass an elaborate wedding and chosen a destination elopement instead, odds are you're down with the idea of having less stress and spending less money on your wedding day. But just because you've decided to elope doesn't mean you should miss out on
a luscious wedding dessert and beautiful flowers. These elements will make your wedding day more celebratory and elevate your keepsake wedding photos. Even if you get a small elopement cake for two or a different dessert you like, and a simple but sweet bridal bouquet or floral crown, you'll be happy to see the lovely details of your elopement when you look at your wedding photos years from now.
For those eloping in Myrtle Beach from out of state, choosing a reputable bakery and florist in the area can be a bit of a mystery. So, I've put together this resource guide to help steer you in the right direction. Your elopement is all about you, so keep the traditions you like and forego the ones you don't, or customize them any way you want. Just be sure to include a few aesthetics to make your wedding beautiful.

Your elopement in Myrtle Beach wouldn't be complete without a sweet ending. Myrtle Beach has plenty of bakeries to help make your buttercream dreams come true. If you're looking for an alternative to a traditional wedding cake, consider cupcakes, donuts, or cheesecake. SugarMoss Cakes & Confections
Headlining at the top of our list is SugarMoss Cakes & Confections. A small, local business with a big following. Owner April Moss has been pleasing palettes along the Grand Strand for over two years with cakes that look beautiful and taste divine. As a culinary graduate, she lovingly prepares made-to-order cakes for any occasion and would be delighted to make one of her specialty cakes just for you. Her licensed, home-based bakery is in Conway, 20 minutes west of Myrtle Beach, but she gladly delivers. I highly recommend this local bakery.

But they will also make a specialty cake for your elopement if you prefer a traditional-style wedding cake. Pricing for specialty cakes depends on the number of servings and the detail in the cake design. If you want a romantic elopement cake for two, check out Priceless Desserts. Located in the heart of Myrtle Beach, Priceless Desserts has been a local's favorite since 1988.
Peace Love and Little Donuts
Want to add some boho flair to your elopement? Celebrate the occasion with groovy, far-out, and funkadelic flavored donuts. If you're not familiar with this donut shop, they make just about every flavor of donut you can imagine. Their online ordering simplifies the process, and your donuts will be ready and waiting when you arrive to pick them up in the Market Common Plaza. Maybe a box of far-out donut flavors is the perfect way to end your elopement ceremony in Myrtle Beach.
Wedding Flowers in Myrtle Beach
I believe you should incorporate wedding flowers into your ceremony, even if you're having a private elopement. That could be as simple as a romantic single stem statement flower, a dainty wrist corsage, or a baby's breath headpiece. Floral elements will distinguish you as a bride while adding color and depth to your wedding photos. Grooms should also consider wearing a boutonniere that complements the bride's florals for added visual appeal.
Flowers By Richard
Serving the Myrtle Beach area since 1992, Flowers By Richard is a reputable florist that takes pride in its high level of customer service and its gorgeous floral arrangements. They usually handle floral treatments for full-scale weddings and offer every type of floral arrangement for such an event, including bouquets, floral arches, centerpieces, floral crowns, wrist corsages, and boutonnieres. With that in mind, their prices are higher than the other florists in our line-up. If you want to splurge and treat yourself to a luxurious bridal bouquet, the average price for one of theirs is around $300. They're open Monday - Friday from 9:30 AM - 4 PM and Saturdays from 9:30 - 3 PM. They're closed on Sundays. Their convenient location is in the heart of Myrtle Beach.
Little Shop of Flowers

Modern Day Elopements
Eloping used to mean running away in secret to get married. The modern definition of eloping is a destination wedding with a primary focus on the ceremony, not the guest experience. Elopements of today are about being intentional on your wedding day instead of thinking about what your guests will enjoy. With the pressure to please your guests eliminated, you can focus on what makes you most happy, no matter how unique those things may be.
Professional Photography in Myrtle Beach
In addition to a celebratory wedding dessert and flowers, you should hire a professional wedding photographer to capture the moments of your elopement and take couple's photos afterward. Without a strict wedding timeline to adhere to, eloping provides the flexibility to get creative with your wedding photos. If you have some fun aesthetics you'd like to incorporate into your wedding photos, I'd be happy to help! I'd love to hear your ideas and have a few to offer. Get in touch.
