It's February, Loveuary, the month of love! It is a great time to showcase some of my previous romantic photo sessions where love stories unfold through the lens, documenting the essence of proposals, engagements, honeymoon sessions, and the enduring beauty of 10-50 year anniversaries. Join me on a visual journey of portraits that capture the magic of love.
Let’s begin with one of my favorite surprise proposals featuring Joe and Heather, where the presence of their children added an extra layer of joy, complete with giggles and all.
The beach, with its expansive charm, serves as the perfect backdrop for gorgeous engagement photos. Alyssa and Evan have amazing natural chemistry, making them a joy to photograph. During their session, the couple effortlessly displayed undeniable connection in a series of captivating shots. They changed outfits four times with ease, creating engagement outfit perfection – no doubt about it.
Honeymoon photo sessions offer a special chance to document the moments of newlywed couples as they bask in the glow of their love. Lauren and Stephen, who were married in North Carolina, chose to have their honeymoon here and expressed a desire to capture their love with portraits. We decided on the Myrtle Beach State Park for its secluded and natural beauty, perfectly aligned with their preferences.
Anniversary sessions hold a special place among my favorites. At A Charmed Life Photography, I specialize in anniversary photo sessions for couples commemorating their lasting love and commitment, particularly for milestone anniversaries ranging from 10 to 50 years.
As a photographer, I am deeply moved by the stories my clients bring to each session. I had the privilege of working with Tanya and Nick, who celebrated their 10-year anniversary. They wanted to recreate a special moment photographed a decade ago: a sunset kiss with the dunes as their backdrop. What began as a simple request evolved into a beautiful tradition. On their 5th anniversary, they returned, this time with a toddler and a baby in tow, recreating the image with their growing family. Now, as they mark another year together, they wish to revisit this cherished spot once more, with their "big girls" by their side. It's moments like these that remind me of the profound honor it is to document the journey of love and family through the lens of my camera.
Lastly, we come full circle for clients John and Rachel, who started as wedding clients in 2013 and returned for a family photo session, where I had the pleasure of meeting their two youngest children.
